Yesterday morning Gabriella took a nap in the swing. I went upstairs to get her just before noon. I turned off the swing and squatted down in front of her. She looked at me and said 'hi'. Clear as day and at a most appropriate time to greet me! I was caught off guard that this little baby girl just said hi to me. I gave her a great big smile and said hi back. She smiled and said hi a second time.
She has said it a handful of times since then, but more to herself while she's in the jumperoo or just playing around. It was just such perfect timing for her to lay it on me yesterday!
